Today we skyped with Oakridge Lower Elementary School. They live in Muskegon, Michigan in the United States of America. They are in grade 2 like us. Their school has grade 1, 2, and 3 only. Their school has one big building with two hallways. They have a gymnasium that they use for PE and breakfast. They showed us a picture of their playground and they have a fort called The Castle because it looks like a castle. We thought it was AWESOME! When we listened to them we noticed that they talk with a different accent to us. In their school they had a computer lab and they go for lessons there twice a week. We found out that they have pets like us. Some of their favourite sports are soccer and baseball. We found out that every morning they say a PLEDGE but we don't. We sing our national anthem. They asked us to sing our national anthem for them.
They told us that they had animals like squirrels, foxes, raccoons, wolves and chipmunks.
It was fun skyping with the children in Muskegon and we can't wait to skype again!
